Aubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984 is a comedian and actor well-known for her characteristic deadpan sense of humor. Plaza plays April Ludgate, a character on the "Parks and Recreation" series. She has performed improv as well as Sketch Comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and making her first web-based series debut with "The Jeannie Tate Show", Plaza went on to star in Judd Apalow's "Funny People" and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World later in her life. Make her day special! Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter Bernadette Plaza of an attorney, and David Plaza of a financial specialist. Her birthplace was Wilmington located in Delaware. Her father is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza completed her studies at a Catholic all-girls college in 2002. She also graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. As a high-school senior, Plaza was the leader of the Wilmington Drama League and a member of its student government. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004, when she was entering her 2nd year of her university career. She developed expressive aphasia and suffered some brief periods of weakness. In the present, she's completely recuperated.
